SUMMARY:FIDELIS Network Launch : Introductory Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Over its three-year duration\, FIDELIS will set up\, develop and operate a European Network of trustworthy digital repositories. This includes developing and implementing a business model for sustaining the Network beyond the project duration. With this initiative\, FIDELIS responds to a community need that was expressed in the Working Paper “Towards a European network of FAIR-enabling Trustworthy Digital Repositories (TDRs)”. \nWhat is the FIDELIS Network webinar about?\nThe Network’s mission is to support digital repositories in Europe to become and remain trustworthy over time. The FIDELIS project operates the Network while working on its development. The webinar will be held online\, on Tuesday\, May 13th\, at 14:00 to 15:00 CET. During this webinar\, we will discuss the Network’s strategy\, roadmap\, governance and membership and encourage provisional members and the wider community to provide feedback. \nDigital repositories that practice or aspire to practice TRUST-inspiring and FAIR-enabling ways of working are welcome to join.
