DESCRIPTION:From 10-11 October 2024\, CRAFT-OA organises the CRAFT-OA Tech Event in Turin\, Italy. \nThe gathering aims to bring together various stakeholders\, including members of the Diamond Open Access (OA) community\, institutional publishing service and technology providers\, journal editors\, and technical professionals working with publishing systems like OJS\, Lodel\, and Janeway. \nThe event will feature presentations\, workshops\, and hands-on sessions on topics such as: \n\nthe Diamond Discovery Hub – the registry of Diamond OA journals\nOJS core and plug-in developments\nIndexes and Aggregators Knowledge Base  \nJournals Visibility Pathfinder for indexing and harvesting services\nTraining materials and curriculum for technical standards\nthe Living Handbook for Diamond OA publishing\nAAI – single sign-on service for the community\nand much more (detailed information on topics is given on the registration website)\n\nThis event is a unique opportunity to share knowledge on the technological advancements within the CRAFT-OA project\, collaborate and shape the future of equitable\, scholar-led\, digital publishing. \nThe registration is open until the 25th of September 2024: https://events.gwdg.de/event/834/overview \nTo ensure an engaging and interactive event\, the number of participants is limited to 99. \nPlease note that a PKP sprint\, hosted by CRAFT-OA\, will also take place in the same location from October 08-09\, 2024: https://events.gwdg.de/event/833/ \nIf you have any questions regarding the event\, please do not hesitate to reach out to the CRAFT-OA coordination team at craft-oa.coordination@sub.uni-goettingen.de.
