Following the remarkable achievements and insightful discussions at the 2020 and 2022 Conferences on a FAIR Data Infrastructure for Materials Genomics\, we are excited to continue the discussion and further collaboration and innovation in this growing field with the theme of Data Intelligence. \n  \nPost-deadline Abstract Submission: \nIn response to the overwhelming interest in our conference and the rapid advancements in the field of data intelligence\, we are excited to announce that we are now accepting post-deadline submissions for abstracts. DESCRIPTION:The conference is the annual event for everyone interested in e-infrastructure in Danish research. Here you can gain new knowledge and professional input in areas such as Data Management\, HPC\, Security\, Network & Services\, and Quantum Computing. The DeiC Conference is also the place to nurture and develop your professional network. \nBy registering before August 30\, you can get your ticket at the early bird price. Read more and register here. \nCollaboration at the Center\nThe theme of this year’s conference is “Collaboration on digital research infrastructure for a better tomorrow\,” and for the first time\, the conference program will be organized around cross-disciplinary topics rather than specific fields. Program committee member Hannah Mihai explains: \n“This year\, we have worked to reflect the significant overlap between our fields in the structure of our conference program. None of our fields stand entirely alone\, and we need each other’s expertise. A good example is DeiC’s involvement in various projects concerning measurements on fiber cables\, where the cables are owned by the Research Network\, data is processed in HPC computing centers under strict security requirements as they can potentially be sensitive\, and the data is stored in accordance with good and FAIR Data Management principles.” Hannah Mihai\, Data Management Consultant\, DeiC. \nThe program committee is currently working hard to put together this year’s exciting program\, and they look forward to presenting the first names in the upcoming DeiC newsletter. \nNew Social Activities\nThe opportunity to meet with old and new acquaintances is a central part of the conference for the participants.
