With the new funding program Data:Research:Austria, the Austrian Academy of Sciences is funding research projects in the field of data/microdata research, in which data are used for fundamental research into socially relevant topics and issues. In three calls, a total of nine million euros will be made available from funds from the Fonds Zukunft Österreich.
The support actions
The call for proposals is open to all topics and is published in all of Austria. The maximum funding period is 2 years. The budget for each of the projects is between a minimum of EUR 150,000 and a maximum of EUR 350,000. The total funding available in the first call is EUR 3.0 million. Applications for funding in step 1 (short proposal) in the two-step application procedure must be submitted in English by 02 May, 2023, to the Department of Research Funding – National and International Programmes by email to programmmanagement@oeaw.ac.at
