Entering the fall of 2023, the 3rd General Assembly of Austria’s Mandated Organisation – EOSC Support Office Austria is just around the corner. On the afternoon of the 18th of October, the annual gathering will kick off at the organisation of the Management Board Chair of 2023, the Naturhistorisches Museum Wien.
The General Assembly holds an important place in the structure and existence of EOSC Support Office Austria as it is the gathering that functions as the official voting moment for the Management Board, the Steering Committee and the official moment to convene and confirm new Working Groups. It also serves as the official setting to introduce and propose new ideas, changes and future plans to the community. The General Assembly ushers in the next year of the EOSC Support Office Austria, it looks back at what was accomplished in the year at hand and looks ahead at future opportunities and challenges.
As Austria’s Mandated Organisation for EOSC, it also provides a moment to celebrate the progress made by EOSC in the last year, not just as the national initiative but also on a European scale. The EOSC-Association will provide an update on recent developments and obstacles and the importance of national initiatives like EOSC Support Office Austria in this endeavor.
