In June 2022, TU Wien welcomed its Consortium Partners – namely, the EOSC Association (project lead), Belnet, CLARIN, CREAF, CSC, EGI, NCN and TU Graz – in Vienna to kick off the EOSC Focus project. With the launch of EOSC Focus, the research infrastructure community got another tool to successfully complete the EOSC building process.

For two days, 44 project members met up to define the exact project scope, establish common project goals and lay the foundation for the cooperation during the project duration of three years. 

EOSC Focus will be another important and flexible tool to successfully complete all EOSC building processes. It will include the activities of the Austrian EOSC initiatives, such as the EOSC Support Office Austria’s Working Groups Researcher Engagement in Austria and KPIs and pool efforts to implement a strategic agenda in alignment with the EOSC Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA).
