Funding Calls Delayed: Update on OSCARS and CoARA Cascade Funding

The opening of the 2nd OSCARS Open Call has been delayed due to pending legal advice from the European Commission regarding eligibility criteria. A new opening date will be announced as soon as it is confirmed.

OSCARS aims to support research communities in adopting Open Science and increasing researcher involvement in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). Through its two Open Calls—with a total funding pool of €16 million—OSCARS selects third-party projects focused on developing innovative Open Science initiatives and FAIR-data-intensive research solutions across the European Research Area (ERA). The first Open Call was launched on March 15, 2024, while the timeline for the second remains uncertain.

Meanwhile, there are no updates regarding the CoARA Boost Cascade Funding Second Call. We will share further details as soon as they become available.

Stay tuned for more information on these funding opportunities!
