Just one month to go: FDO Conference at TU Wien

This event will explore the development of FAIR digital objects and their role in establishing a trustworthy, global data landscape. Expect lively discussions and new insights into practical implementations, strategic visions and successful interoperability.

FAIR digital objects are the basic building blocks to connect thousands of existing and emerging data spaces and repositories. If you are interested in participating in discussions about establishing an integrated global data domain and adopting the STTAP principles (data sovereignty, transparency/traceability, accountability and persistence), Vienna is the place to be. These principles will be essential in a future world full of AI models.

On the first day of the main conference (25 March 2026), the focus will be on trust issues and dataspace/FDO architectures for implementing trust dimensions. Experts from various regions and sectors (science and industry) will contribute to the discussion and help define future directions.

The remaining two days will feature keynotes and panels on relevant topics, as well as presentations, lightning talks and posters, on concrete FDO implementations.

Join in shaping the next era of data-driven science and innovation!
