Open Science Communities (OSC) are places where newcomers to Open Science learn from their peers how to put Open Science to practice, and are driving forces in the transition to Open Science. OSCs organise workshops, symposia, working groups and other means of knowledge exchange, to make for better science, for the benefit of all. Currently, over 18 local OSCs are active in more than eight countries, and the network is rapidly expanding.
We invite you to be part of this and start your own local OSC.
In our 12-week online OSC Incubator Program, you will set up your own local OSC and layout the foundations for a thriving community. The program consists of six modules:
- Mission & Vision
- Community Engagement
- Communication Strategies
- Stakeholders Engagement
- Monitoring & Sustainability
- Open!
The next round of the OSC Incubator Program is now open for subscription and starts in March 2023. Due to the sponsoring of EU funded projects (AURORA RO & Skills4EOSC) we can offer this program free of charge!
More information about the OSC Incubator Program, as well as a sign-up form, can be found at www.osc-international.com under ’start your own OSC’.
