The PATTERN project is happy to invite you to attend its final event: PATTERNs of Change: Building an Open and Responsible Future for European Research.

Join policymakers, research organisations, SMEs and EU-funded projects to reflect on how we can scale up open and responsible research and innovation (Open RRI) across Europe and to share what actually works (and what doesn’t) in real-life implementation.

The programme

Morning: Policy-oriented sessions (09:00–13:00)

A high-level roundtable and a practical outreach workshop focused on aligning researchers’ needs with EU-driven policies and strengthening Open RRI practices.

Afternoon: Story Slam Session with Sister Projects (14:30–15:30)

A short, fun and refreshingly honest format: projects share an “unsuccessful” story (something that didn’t go to plan, a failed approach, a lesson learned)  and the presentation must include a MEME.

Afternoon: Walkthrough poster session and networking (15:30–16:30)

A dedicated space to showcase posters and dissemination materials, walk around, connect and exchange ideas. Feel free to bring posters, roll-ups, flyers, postcards, or any other comms materials you’d like to share.
