UNESCO Working Group on Open Science Capacity Building

UNESCO has set up five working groups, each targeting key impact areas crucial for implementing the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science (OS) adopted on 23 November 2021. While the Recommendation affirmed the importance of open science as a vital tool to improve the quality and accessibility of both scientific outputs and scientific processes, these working groups brought together experts and open science entities from various fields and domains to address distinct yet interconnected topics and challenges essential to the implementation of the Recommendation.

Seven new Horizon Europe INFRAEOSC projects to launch in Q1 2024

There are seven ambitious EOSC-related Horizon Europe projects kicking off their three-year journey in 2024, aiming to contribute to EOSC implementation and development as Horizon Research and Innovation Actions. All these projects are funded through HORIZON.1.3 – Research Infrastructures, under Consolidating and Developing the Landscape of European Research Infrastructures.

Achieving “One EOSC”: mapping of project contributions

The support and coordination project EOSC Focus capture all project results and map how they add value to the overall goal of achieving “one EOSC'', the EOSC Focus project is collaborating with the project consortia to capture their contributions and translate them into a "Macro-roadmap". TU Graz as tasklead of Coordination between projects, played an important role.
