2nd Swiss coffee
Second Swiss EOSC Coffee

The European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) aims to develop a ‘Web of FAIR Data and services’ for science in Europe upon which a wide range of value-added services can be built. Would you like to know how Switzerland is involved, and how it proposes to unlock the full potential of research data to accelerate discoveries and innovation?

If so, you should not miss or second blend of the SWISS EOSC COFFEE  on Wednesday, 15 November 2023 at noon.

The Swiss EOSC expert team is delighted to welcome Dr. Bob Jones (deputy head of IT department at CERN & EOSC Board of Directors Member) for the November online coffee break. Bob will provide us with insights on what a node is and will offer future perspectives for EOSC and the European Countries. Then Dr. Sebastian Sigloch, Head of Data & Insights and EOSC representative at Switch, will offer the Swiss perspective and outlooks before the audience is invited to join in and discuss the status quo.

The Swiss EOSC expert group is looking forward to welcoming you to this 60 minutes online event on Wednesday 15 November at noon (no inscription). Please note that the event will be held in English.

If you would like to know more about EOSC and the concept of nodes, please check out the EOSC Multi-Annual Roadmap (MAR) 2025 and 2026-2027
