FAIR-EASE FINAL EVENT
12 June 2025

Join us in Paris on June 12th for the final event of the FAIR-EASE project, a key gathering of Earth science researchers, policymakers, data scientists, and EOSC stakeholders. This full-day event marks the culmination of three years of work toward building an Open Science EOSC Node that empowers Earth System Science through interoperable, FAIR-aligned digital services.
The morning will feature two dynamic roundtable sessions. The first will present the main results of the FAIR-EASE project, highlighting key outcomes and achievements across disciplines and domains. The second roundtable will look ahead to the future of Earth Science communities within the EOSC Federation, focusing on sustainability, integration with research infrastructures, and the continued development of FAIR-oriented services. Both sessions will bring together voices from the scientific community, EOSC representatives, and major data providers including Copernicus, ESA, and ECMWF.
In the afternoon, we’ll dive deeper into the interdisciplinary and technical challenges that FAIR-EASE has addressed. Through live demonstrations, we’ll explore the innovative solutions developed for data discovery, access, and analysis. A poster session will showcase the full breadth of project results and use cases, providing a space for open exchange and feedback.
This event is a moment to reflect, share lessons learned, and look ahead to how FAIR-EASE’s work can continue to shape a more connected and collaborative scientific future.
