The ability to communicate science effectively is becoming increasingly crucial in empowering society, especially in the context of evidence-informed policymaking.

To address this need, SKILLS4EOSC is organising a two-day interactive workshop to enhance researchers’ communication skills and facilitate dialogue with policymakers.

This workshop offers a unique opportunity for researchers to upskill their communication competencies through a combination of theoretical learning and practical application.

The program is structured as follows:

Day 1 (November 4):

• Session 1: Exploring effective science communication paths, led by Joana Lobo Antunes

• Session 2: Focus on the “science4policy” framework, conducted by Alessandro Allegra

Day 2 (November 5):

• Interactive session: Simulations of political debates and role-playing exercises, facilitated by Petra Buljevic and Marko Košiček
