Since 08 March, the EOSC-A members and observer are invited to join four-week consultation on the MAR 2025-27. The EOSC-A aims to gather community views on the priorities and outcomes proposed. The MAR will form part of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA), which defines the general framework for future research, development and innovation activities in relation to the EOSC.
Data discovery is important to facilitate data re-use. This paper presents the analysis of these 101 use cases collected between 2019 and 2020 to examine data discovery requirements. We categorized the information across 12 topics and eight types of users.

How they do this - for example through interviews, workshops or surveys - is up to each WG. In this article, all of the eight WGs are briefly described, their goals are presented and links to previous publications and first results are shared. In the future, further activities and results will be presented via the newsletter in more detail. Results are also published in the Zenodo Community EOSC Austria.
Open Knowledge Maps has recently reached a major milestone – over 1 million maps have been created on the platform. Open Knowledge Maps and its open infrastructure are part of the European Open Science Cloud. We follow the system-of-systems approach, whereby the services offered on our platform can easily be integrated in 3rd party systems.
The project will set up a pan-European network of competence centres to speed up the training of European researchers and harmonise the training of new professional figures for scientific data management.
In June 2022, TU Wien welcomed its Consortium Partners – namely, the EOSC Association (project lead), Belnet, CLARIN, CREAF, CSC, EGI, NCN and TU Graz – in Vienna to kick off the EOSC Focus project. With the launch of EOSC Focus, the research infrastructure community got another tool to successfully complete the EOSC building process.
